Pirum and Strinden Promenade Orchestra

This years prformance at the conference dinner on September 13. we will proudly present two grops with the outspring of NTNU' student society, Studentersamfundet.

PIRUM

is a vocal group of twenty male students from NTNU. The choir started in 1965 as an event to the second annual “StudentUKA” - a very long week with conserts, shows and rejunion for previous NTNU-students. Due to the popularity of the choir, the quality and the reportoir, thanks to dedicated leaders as Trygve Hoff og Bernt Gjelvold, the choir expanded and they became more frequently used at events in Trondheim, as well as in the student societyt. They have also been representing in festivals abroad.

Strinden Promenade Orchestra
Strindens Promenade Orchester, a party of 12, is also an offspring form the Student Society in trondheim. The orchestra has a wide range of genres, and they perform to a vareity of events in Trondheim.
