Educated from University of Tronheim (NTH) 1977 as Geologist/Explorationist Working for Norsk Hydro 1978 – 82 and 1985 – 2007 in different positions including Exploration Manager, Early Field Development Project Manager, Manager Production Geology and Manager Rig Support.

Working for StatoilHydro from 2007and Statoil from 2009 as Senior Advisor for Statoils Integrated Operations Corporate Initiative.

Special assignment as Chairman for Norwegian Oil Industry Association`s (OLF) Integrated Operations Steering Committee 2004 - 2007. Has given a series of presentations in professional conferences on behalf of Norsk Hydro and Statoil, including Intelligent Energy Conference (SPE), Utrecht 2010
